- Great alpine tent Review by Web

I am very impressed by how this tent performs in high winds and by its low weight. I've enjoyed this tent in various conditions and, with the exception of a sun-baked afternoon, found it comfortable.

- lightweight alpinism tent Review by Colin Haley
-
This is an awesome tent for lightweight alpine climbing. It works great as a camp tent for quick hits in the Cascades, BC Coast Range, Sierras, etc. More importantly, though, it is the best option for a tent to take on route in places such as the Alaska Range or the Himalaya (the Cassin Ridge is a perfect example). It is light, blocks the snow, and blocks the wind. it's not the best in a rainstorm, but neither is alpine climbing the best in a rainstorm. It weighs about the same as two light bivy sacks, but provides tons more protection and comfort - if there will be ledges large enough to pitch a Firstlight, then always choose it over bivy sacks.
